Gangster Kapil Pandit, one of the three suspects arrested recently for the murder of Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, reportedly confessed before his interrogators that he had in 2021 conspired with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s group to kill Salman Khan. Pandit was arrested on September 10 on the India-Nepal border in Darjeeling along with Deepak Mundi, the sixth and last shooter in Moose Wala’s murder, and a third accomplice (Rajinder alias Joker) who had come from Nepal to help them cross the border.
It may be mentioned here that Pandit had jumped parole in 2021. He had been released on parole last year to attend the last rites of his mother. He was wanted in the murder of a person from his native village, Bewad, in Churu district of Rajasthan. It was then that he was approached by the Bishnoi gang to exterminate Salman Khan.
