Well-known Marathi film actor Avinash Kharshikar passed away this morning (8th October) around 10 o’clock at his residence at Thane due to heart attack. He had not been keeping well since some days.
The actor contributed immensely to the Marathi entertainment industry. He started acting with Bandivan Mee Ya Sansari in 1976. Among the other films he had acted in were Jasa Baap Tashi Por, Sau Shashi Deodhar, Kiss Bai Kiss, Bakula Namdev Ghotale, Majha Navra Tujhi Bayko, Aadhar, Aai Thor Tuzhe Upkar, Chalu Navra Bholi Bayko, Ghayal, Lapwa Chhapwi, Maficha Sakshidar, Parwane etc.
