Popular Bhojpuri film actor Brijesh Tripathi passed away yesterday (17th December) in Bombay after suffering a heart attack. He had been treated for dengue recently in Meerut and had returned to Bombay only a few days back. He suffered a heart attack last night and was declared dead on arrival when he was rushed to a hospital.
Brijesh Tripathi had acted in hundreds of Bhojpuri films, mostly in villainous roles. An accomplished actor, he made a very good name for himself in the Bhojpuri film industry. He had also acted in several Hindi films.
Brijesh Tripathi shot to fame with Om. Among the many Bhojpuri and Hindi films he worked in were No Entry, Gupt, Devra Bhail Deewana and Mohra.
