BOMBAY EXHIBITOR MANUBHAI MEHTA DIES OF COVID | 29 September, 2020

Manubhai Mehta, owner of Maxus cinemas at Bhayandar, Borivli and Saki Naka, Andheri (all three in Bombay) and at Bhavnagar, passed away last night (28th September) in Bombay due to COVID-19. He was 67 years old. He is survived by his wife and two sons.

Manubhai was also a businessman and was involved in a lot of social work and philanthropy. In the Jain community to which he belonged, he was a very respected figure because of the work he did for the people of his community and also due to his large-heartedness and good nature. Manubhai was planning to start a multiplex at Virar in Thane district but that was not to be.
