Punjabi film Carry On Jatta 3 has recorded the highest opening ever! The opening was so phenomenal that it outdid the previous record holder by a margin of almost Rs. 2 crore! The Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa starrer, directed by Smeep Kang, opened yesterday (Thursday, June 29) owing to the Eid holiday. It netted Rs. 4.50 crore on the first day. In East Punjab alone, the film collected Rs. 3.54 crore. The total for Delhi was Rs. 0.78 crore while for the rest of India, it was Rs. 0.18 crore.
