Ravinder Bhakar, who worked as the CEO of the Central Board of Film Certification, has been repatriated to his parent cadre, the ministry of Railways/Railways Board Secretariat with immediate effect. The order announcing his transfer was dated 12th December and was signed by the under secretary to the government of India.
In his place, Smita Vats Sharma has taken additional charge of the CEO’s post. She is the Additional Director General (M & C), Press Information Bureau, Bombay. She was the regional officer of the CBFC during the tenure of CBFC chairperson Sharmila Tagore.
