The CBI on August 2 opposed actor Sooraj Pancholi’s plea seeking that a non-bailable warrant be issued against actress Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabia Khan, in the 2013 abetment to suicide case. Sooraj is accused of abetting the suicide of his then girlfriend, Jiah Khan. His plea of June 28 said that Rabia had failed to appear before the court despite repeated summons, as she was only trying to delay the trial.
