The officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) started their investigation into the Sushant Singh Rajput death case by visiting the Bandra (Bombay) police station on 21st August. They also questioned the late actor’s cook and house manager. His associates will also be interrogated.

Sushant was found dead in his Bandra flat on 14th June. The police treated it as an accidental death. The CBI was asked to investigate the case by the Supreme Court. It is reported that the actor’s friend, Siddharth Pithani, and three house employees were in the flat when the alleged suicide took place.

Meanwhile, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has, on the request of the CBI, formed a medical board to examine and analyse the post-mortem examination report of Sushant. The CBI team will also record the statements of the doctors who conducted the post-mortem.

In the meantime, the WhatsApp chat between Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant’s girlfriend and the main accused in the murder theory propounded by Sushant’s father, and Mahesh Bhatt on 8th June when Rhea left Sushant’s home where she was living in with him, has been doing the rounds of the WhatsApp circuit.
