Released last week in East Punjab (at Faridabad), DMW Creator’s Chillar Gang is a film about kids.
Performances of Nikhil Raj, Yuvraj Bhadana, Komal Parashar, Sagar Chandila, Ajit Verma, Goldy Mehta, Aditya Kumar, Droan, Tarun Mohammed, Ajita Jha, Krik Tanwar, Ravi Pujari, Anil Kapasiya, Kaushal Kishore, Anish Khan and Amit Yadav are ordinary.
Tarun Mohammed’s script and direction are quite weak. Droan’s music is dull. Lyrics (Anoop Singh and Ceetu Jaipuri) are functional. Mahadevan and Vinod Chakraborty’s song picturisations barely pass muster. Manish Pandit’s camerawork is dull. Jay Prakash Mehta’s editing leaves a lot to be desired.
On the whole, Chillar Gang is not even for the kids.
