Employees of Galaxy Cinema of Rajkot posted pictures of themselves holding posters of ‘Save Jobs’, ‘Save Our Family’, ‘We Need Work’ and ‘Save Cinema’ to urge the government to reopen cinemas. While most other businesses have been permitted to restart work after the lifting of the lockdown, cinemas across India are still closed. Cinema owners and employees are waiting with bated breath for the government to announce their reopening. Meanwhile, employees of Galaxy Cinema, Rajkot have expressed their predicament because of the cinema closure since mid-March.
