Cinemas in the state of Karnataka will remain shut in the weekends in view of the curfew announced in the state from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. On other days, curfew will be observed from 10 p.m. every day till 5 a.m. of the following day.
On weekdays, cinemas will be allowed to function at 50% capacity only.
The above will come into effect from tomorrow (January 5) and will remain in force till January 19.
