A sessions court in Bombay this week rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Poonam Pandey after she was booked in a case in connection with alleged obscene videos uploaded on the web. While Poonam called herself a victim, the court said that she had refused to cooperate with the probe despite notices being sent to her. It added that considering her conduct, her custodial interrogation was necessary for proper investigations. The prosecution opposed the anticipatory bail plea.
