‘DEAR DIA’ REVIEW | 10 June, 2022

Netrix Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.’s Dear Dia (UA) is a love story.

The life of a young introverted girl changes when she falls in love with her college mate.

K.S. Ashoka has penned a story which has very little to offer. His screenplay is quite dull and often predictable too. Tariq Mohammad’s dialogues are routine.

Pruthvi Ambaar is ordinary. Ujjwal Sharma doesn’t quite impress. Mihika Kushwaha does a routine job. Aahil Khan passes muster. Mrinal Kulkarni is okay.

K.S. Ashoka’s direction is dull. Music (Rishabh Srivastava, Rakesh Kharvi and Mahesh Matkar) is hardly passable. Lyrics (Ladoo Suwalka, S. Amir Hussain, Charu Chaudhary and Amit Sagar) are ordinary. Pavan Bob’s choreography hardly deserves mention. Camerawork (Ashok Mishra) is so-so. Sneha Motwani’s production designing is nothing to shout about. Akshay Kumar’s editing is loose.

On the whole, Dear Dia is a weak show all the way.

Released on 10-6-’22 at Glamour (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru White Lion Entertainment. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over.
