DELHI HC SEEKS CBFC STAND ON ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES IN FILMS | 2 November, 2024

The Delhi high court has sought the stand of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on a petition seeking to ensure that films released after September 14, 2024 follow accessibility guidelines for persons with hearing and visual disabilities. Justice Sanjeev Narula issued a notice on the plea filed by Suman Bhokray who suffers from visual disability, and asked authorities to file a response within four weeks.
