The Delhi police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) interrogated Nora Fatehi on September 2 in connection with an extortion case linked to conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. She was questioned for more than six hours and her statement was recorded.
Nora claimed that she had no idea that the Madras event, for which she was called, had links with the extortion crime. Jacqueline Fernandez is also being questioned in the case.
Chandrasekhar, currently in jail, is accused of cheating, extortion and money-laundering.
