Even as social and electronic media is agog with rumours that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was connected with the death of his erstwhile manager, Disha Salian, her family and friends have released a statement asking people to not encourage or spread the rumours. Disha had jumped to her death off a highrise at Malad in Bombay days before Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide.
The rumours now doing the rounds say that Disha had been raped by an actor, the brother of an actress and a politician at a party held at Sushant Singh Rajput’s house, and then murdered by the rapists who made it look like suicide. This, the rumours allege, had led Sushant to end his life a few days later. The family and friends of Disha have requested for them to be left alone and have described the conspiracy theories and speculations as fake.
