ED TOLD TO REPLY TO JACQUELINE’S PLEA | 12 May, 2022

A Delhi court yesterday (May 11) sought a reply from the Enforcement Directorate on a plea filed by Jacqueline Fernandez seeking the release of her passport and permission to travel abroad for the forthcoming IIFA. She said that the ED had not named her as an accused in its chargesheet but had nevertheless seized her passport without citing any reason. The actress is being investigated by the ED in connection with the Rs. 200-crore extortion case involving alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.

Addtional sessions judge Parveen Singh issued a notice to ED and listed the matter for further hearing on May 18.
