The Oshiwara (Bombay) police today (17th September) registered an FIR against actor Sahil Khan and some others for allegedly driving bodybuilder Manoj Patil to suicide. Patil had consumed an overdose of sleeping pills yesterday (16th) in a bid to end his life but was saved. He had earlier written to the Oshiwara police that Sahil was harming his reputation by posting defamatory things about him on social media. Sahil denied the allegations in a press conference held the same day.
No arrests have been made so far. The police is waiting for Manoj Patil’s discharge from hospital so that his statement can be recorded.
