The Film Federation of India has announced the opening of applications for choosing the film as India’s entry to the Oscars this year. The entries are open from 15th August to 10th September. The film must have been released between 1st December, 2022 and 31st October, 2023.
The jury will head to Madras where al the members will watch the applied films between 15th and 25th September. The final entry will be decided by voting and will be announced on 26th.
FFI president Ravi Kottarakara will announce the jury and the name of the chairman of the jury shortly.
