Senior film journalist and critic Vishal Thakur breathed his last on the morning of 3rd January in Delhi due to breathing problems. Although he had been suffering from respiratory problems since a long time, the end was quite sudden. He was 46 years old and had been in the field of journalism for more than two decades. He is survived by his journalist-wife and two daughters.
Vishal was known for his satirical writings on the film industry. He worked for many years as the chief reporter of Hindustan newspaper. Since the last few years, he had been working as a freelancer. An amiable person, he was extremely passionate about films and the film industry.
