Dilip Naik, one-time chief assistant of director Yash Chopra, passed away today (7th May) in Bombay. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son. Dilip had directed Nakhuda for Yash Raj Films. The film starred Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Raj Kiran and Swaroop Sampat and was released in 1981. He had also directed Jaaydaad in 1989, starring Shashi Kapoor, Raj Babbar and Madhavi.
