Veteran film writer-producer-director Rakesh Kumar breathed his last on 10th November in Bombay. He was 81. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. The filmmaker had been suffering from cancer.
A prayer meeting in his memory will be held tomorrow (13th November) from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Celebration Sports Club, Garden No. 5, Lokhandwala, Andheri (W), Bombay.
Among the films he had made were Khoon Pasina, Do Aur Do Paanch, Mr. Natwarlal, Yaarana, Johnny I Love You, Dil Tujhko Diya, Kaun Jeeta Kaun Haara, Commander and Suryavanshi (1992). Of these, he had also produced Dil Tujhko Diya, Commander and Kaun Jeeta Kaun Haara. He had also acted in a few films.
