The K West ward of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on 15th March filed a police complaint against Gauhar Khan for flouting COVID-19 protocol. Despite testing positive for COVID-19 some days back, she reportedly stepped out for shooting. The actress is said to have had two reports — a positive report from Bombay, which was dated March 11, and a negative report from Delhi, dated March 12. A case has been registered against her under various sections of the IPC, the National Disaster Management Act and the Epidemic Diseases Act.
Meanwhile, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees has issued a non-cooperation directive against Gauhar Khan for two months, for her irresponsible behaviour which could endanger other lives.
