The Bombay high court on 6th September rejected a pre-arrest bail plea of actress Gehana Vasisth who was accused of making explicit and illicit videos and uploading them on various phone applications. It is also alleged that she forced models into acting in such videos by promising them a break in films. The Malwani (Malad, Bombay) police had registered an FIR against her earlier this year for offences of cheating, obscenity as well as for various offences under the Information Technology Act and Indecent Representation of Women Act.
