Pan Nalin, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Dheer Momaya and Mark Duale’s Gujarati film Chhello Show (Last Film Show) will be India’s official entry to the Oscars 2023 in the Best International Feature Film category. The announcement was made by the Film Federation of India Today (20th September).
The film stars Bhavin Rabari, Vikas Bata, Richa Meena, Bhavesh Shrimali, Dipen Raval and Rahul Koli. The film had its world premiere as the opening film at Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Film Festival. It has won multiple awards across international film festivals. It will release theatrically in Gujarat and in select screens across India on October 14.
