The Haryana government granted yet another 30-day parole to jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief and actor-writer-producer-director Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who is serving sentences in two rape cases and life imprisonment in two separate murder cases. This is his fifth parole in 17 months, and the second this year.
Incarcerated in Sunaria jail in Rohtak, Singh has been granted parole on the condition that he would remain present at the Shah Satnam Ji ashram Dera Sacha Sauda Barnava in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh and would obtain prior permission from the district magistrate before leaving.
