The Bombay high court on April 3 asked Interpol whether it would assist in finding the whereabouts of the two minor children of producer Mushtaq Nadiadwala. The two children are with his Pakistani wife in Lahore.
A bench led by Justice Revati Mohite-Dere heard a habeas corpus petition by Nadiadwala to produce the children. Senior advocate Beni Chatterji, appearing for Mushtaq Nadiadwala, said that Interpol could assist the ministry of external affairs in tracing the children. Advocate Kuldeep Patil, on behalf of Interpol, said, he would take instructions and inform the court on April 12.
