Celebrity fashion designer Prathyusha Garimella was found dead in the washroom of her studio at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad yesterday (11th June). She had designed clothes for a number of actors in the Telugu and Hindi film industries.
According to the police, Prathyusha may have committed suicide by inhaling a poisonous gas, probably carbon monoxide, which is yet to be identified. The costume designer put an unknown chemical on burning charcoal and might have inhaled the gas. The chemical has been seized from the studio and sent for examination.
