Music maestro Ilaiyaraja has heaped praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and compared him with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. In his foreword to the book Ambedkar & Modi: Reformer’s Ideas, Performer’s Implementation, by Bluekraft Digital Foundation, the celebrated Tamil film composer has made the comparison and lauded Modi’s pro-women initiatives like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
The comment was met with mixed reaction on social media. While some posted disapproval for Ilaiyaraja’s comparison, others defended the praise for Modi.
