Producers Imtiaz Ali, Mahaveer Jain, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and Reeyan Shah announced Lyca Productions, Mahaveer Jain Films and Window Seat Films’ Side Heroes on Aug. 2, on the eve of Friendship Day. It stars Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Varun Sharma in the lead roles. The film is being directed by Sanjay Tripathy. It will be a comical story of three childhood friends who reconnect at a reunion after years of distance and silence. Writers: Siddharth Sen and Pankaj Matta. The film will release on Friendship Day next year.
