INTERIM RELIEF FOR ARBAAZ KHAN IN DEFAMATION CASE FOR BEING DRAGGED INTO SUSHANT, DISHA DEATH CASES | 29 September, 2020

The city civil court in Bombay on 28th September granted Arbaaz Khan interim relief by asking named defendants Vibhor Anand and Sakshi Bhandari as well as unknown defendants to immediately withdraw/recall/take down the defamatory content published directly or indirectly by any of them, as also all other posts, messages, tweets, videos, interviews, communications and correspondence similar to the defamatory content in relation to Arbaaz Khan or his family members on all public domains and social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and not publish any further defamatory contet. Some posts had mentioned that Arbaaz was arrested and taken into unofficial custody of the CBI which is investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Arbaaz had filed a defamation case against certain known and unknown social media users who were making defamatory allegations in posts and online videos, alleging his involvement in the recent unfortunate deaths of Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput, which are under investigation. The order was passed by Justice V.V. Vidwans.

Earlier this year, Abhinav Kashyap, director of Salman Khan’s Dabangg, had accused Salman and his brothers, Arbaaz and Sohail, of ruining his career.
