Shreehans Arts And Creations and Bolt Entertainment’s Jaggu Ki Lalten (UA) is the story of how one man vows to improve the life of another man who is going through a lot of pain and suffering.
Harilal (Neeraj Gupta) is a generous yet shrewd scrap dealer. He has amassed huge wealth but is very compassionate by nature. He values his ethics so much that he is a name to reckon with in the vicinity. On one of his several business trips, Harilal meets Jaggu (Raghubir Yadav) who is bogged down by pain and suffering. Harilal decides to bring back Jaggu’s life on track again.
Vipin Kapoor has written a story which hardly has commercial ingredients. If his story line is thin, his screenplay moves rather predictably. Hence the drama completely fails to involve the audience. Even his dialogues are commonplace.
Raghubir Yadav is natural as Jaggu. Neeraj Gupta does a fair job in the role of Harilal. Akriti Bharti is so-so as Durga. Rambir Aryan (as Deewan) lends routine support. Saleem Zaidi is ordinary in the role of Pillu. Rocky, Raaj Gopal Iyer, Biren Dang, Namrita Malla, Sudhir Rathi and Himshikha Karnatak provide very ordinary support.
Vipin Kapoor’s direction is as weak as his script. Manish Sahriya’s music and background score are functional. Lyrics (Mayank Gera) are nothing to write home about. Sooraj Katoch’s choreography is dull. Jan Kashyap’s camerawork adds little to the drama. Puneet Kapoor’s production designing is unimpressive. Vikas Phougat’s editing is loose.
On the whole, Jaggu Ki Lalten is a weak fare.
