JEREMY RENNER RUN OVER BY HEAVY SNOWPLOUGH | 5 January, 2023

Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner, who was critically injured on January 1, 2023, was run over by a 6.3-tonne snowplough which he had used to tow his car on a snowed-in private road near his home in Reno, Nevada. The 51-year-old star had been helping a family member who was driving the car and had gotten stuck. After successfully towing the car, Renner got off the snowplough which then began to roll. Renner attempted to get back into the driver’s seat to halt the rolling vehicle, but was instead run over.

Jeremy Renner underwent surgery on January 2 for blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries. He was in intensive care the following day in critical but stable condition. His representative, Samantha Mast, said that Renner was “making positive progress and is awake, talking and in good spirits”.
