Actor Jimmy Shergill, director E. Niwas and two other unit members of web series Your Honor were arrested for flouting COVID-19 protocols in Ludhiana. They were granted bail soon thereafter.
The unit has been shooting in a school in Ludhiana. The police on 26th April warned the unit for flouting COVID rules while shooting. But the same protocols were being flouted the next day too when the police reached the set. There were 150 unit members on the set, and they were neither wearing masks nor observing social distancing. What’s more, they were shooting even at 8 p.m. although curfew starts in Ludhiana at 6 p.m. daily. While booking 35 unit members on 27th April, the police arrested Jimmy Shergill, E. Niwas and two others. All the four were granted bail soon thereafter.
