Kartik Aaryan was slapped with a penalty of Rs. 1,250 for violation of two traffic rules at Prabhadevi in Bombay on February 17, the day his Shehzada was released. The actor visited Siddhivinayak Temple with his parents around 1 p.m. that day. He was penalised for allegedly parking his luxury sports car in the wrong direction. For the wrong side parking, he was issued a receipt of Rs. 500. Another challan for Rs. 750 was issued under a section of the Motor Vehicle Act, which deals with disobedience of police order/direction because Kartik had been told by the police to not park his vehicle at the spot but he did so despite the warning.
Kartik was issued the challans when he stepped out of the temple. The Bombay police posted a photo of Aaryan’s sports car on their Twitter handle. Though the name of the star was not mentioned in the tweet, their post gave enough hints for people to understand who the actor was. The tweet by the Bombay police read: “Problem? Problem yeh thi ki the car was parked on the wrong side! Don’t do the Bhool of thinking that Shehzadas can flout traffic rules. #RulesAajKalAndForever.”
