KERALA HC RAPS MALAYALAM FILMMAKER FOR ABUSIVE DIALOGUES | 10 December, 2021

The Kerala high court on December 9 admitted a petition seeking an inquiry into how Malayalam film Churuli was certified by the CBFC in spite of containing a lot of dialogues in abusive language. The petition was filed by advocate Peggy Fen. The petitioner has alleged that the foul language was used in the film intentionally with a view to attracting attention. The petition alleges that the film has obscene and filthy language which is opposed to public morality and tranquility.

Justice N. Nagaresh issued a notice to the film’s makers. The court remarked that the film was atrocious!
