Marathi television actress Ketaki Chitale was released on bail from the Thane jail on June 23 around 6.30 p.m. She returned to her Kalamboli residence after spending more than a month in the Thane jail following her arrest last month after an FIR was filed against her by the Kalwa police station. The FIR was for an allegedly defamatory social media post shared by Chitale about NCP chief Sharad Pawar. The Thane sessions court granted her bail on June 22.
