A letter written by the headmaster of a government school in Kulhalli village of Karnataka has gone viral, thanks to Kichha Sudeepa. The letter makes a fervent appeal to the local barber not to give a haircut to school children, similar to that of the actor in Hebbuli. The hairstyle had become such a rage that the school found itself helpless when school boys started going in for the same in hordes.
Headmaster Shivaji Naik wrote to the barber, who was giving school kids the Sudeepa haircut, “Several students in our school are getting the Hebbuli-style haircut. Their fashion consciousness has eclipsed their interest in curriculum and has begun to affect their academic performance. I request you to give our students a disciplined haircut. If a student demands filmi-style haircut, please report them to parents or the school.”
The barber, Channappa Siddaramappa, obliged and stopped giving kids the haircut.
