Gumraah fared quite badly in the first week. It started with a take of Rs. 1.12 crore on the first day. Collections on Saturday (Rs. 1.33 crore) and Sunday (Rs. 1.52 crore) grew only marginally despite the slow start so that the first weekend closed at Rs. 3.97 crore only. Collections dropped markedly during the weekdays: Monday – Rs. 0.52 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.51 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.46 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.47 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 1.96 crore. Therefore, the film managed to net Rs. 5.93 crore in its first week.
August 16 1947 (dubbed) met with a disastrous fate at the ticket counters in its first week. It could not collect even Rs. 1 crore in its entire week!
Geethasakshiga (dubbed) failed to make any impact whatsoever at the box-office in 1st week.
The Pope’s Exorcist (dubbed and the original English versions) did fair business in the first week. It netted Rs. 0.22 crore in paid previews on Thursday. Collections on the first day totalled Rs. 1.25 crore. Collections on Saturday and Sunday were Rs. 1.47 crore and Rs. 1.48 crore respectively. After a weekend (including paid previews) total of Rs. 4.42 crore, collections on the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.68 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.64 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.59 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.67 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 2.58 crore. Therefore, the total for the first week was Rs. 7 crore in the first week.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie (animation, dubbed and the original English versions) did very ordinary business in 1st week. It netted Rs. 19 lakh in paid previews (only English version) on Thursday. All the versions put together collected Rs. 1 crore on Friday, Rs. 1.28 crore on Saturday, and Rs. 1.37 crore on Sunday. In this way, the total for the first weekend (including paid previews) was Rs. 3.84 crore. Collections during the weekdays were quite low: Monday – Rs. 0.28 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.28 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.29 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.38 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 1.23 crore. In this way, the total for the first week (including paid previews of the English version on Thursday) was Rs. 5.07 crore.
Bholaa did very ordinary business in 2nd week. The second weekend was fair but collections for the weekdays were on the lower side. The second week closed at Rs. 14.50 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 68.20 crore.
Dasara (dubbed) continued to do below-average business in its second week too.
John Wick: Chapter 4 (dubbed and the original English versions) dropped further in 3rd week. It collected Rs. 3.84 crore in the third week. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 45.43 crore.
Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway added Rs. 1.55 crore to its kitty in the fourth week. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 20.81 crore.
Shazam! Fury Of The Gods (dubbed and the original English versions) was dull in its fourth week.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar collected Rs. 2.55 crore in its fifth weekend, and another Rs. 1.35 crore during the weekdays, taking its total for 5th week to Rs. 3.90 crore. Grand total for 5 weeks: Rs. 131.53 crore.
