Collections on Saturday were Rs. 9.50 crore. Sunday closed at Rs. 10 crore, taking the first weekend’s total to Rs. 28.75 crore. Collections on the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 4.25 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 4 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 3.60 crore, Thursday – Rs. 3.30 crore. In this way, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 15.15 crore. Hence the first week closed at Rs. 43.90 crore.

The film netted Rs. 12.64 crore on the opening day (Good Friday holiday). Collections on Saturday and Sunday were Rs. 11.83 crore and Rs. 13.23 crore respectively so that the first weekend closed at Rs. 37.70 crore. After a good weekend, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 5.41 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 4.07 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 3.52 crore, Thursday – Rs. 3.05 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 16.05 crore, the first week closed at Rs. 53.75 crore. Of this, the South contributed almost 55%. While the original English version collected 42% of the total, the various dubbed versions contributed the balance 58%.

Swatantrya Veer Savarkar dropped around 40% in 2nd week after a below-the-mark 1st week. The second weekend started with a take of Rs. 1.25 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday and Sunday were Rs. 1.25 crore and Rs. 1.30 crore respectively. After a second weekend total of Rs. 3.80 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.80 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.70 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.65 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.60 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 2.75 crore. In this way, the second week closed at Rs. 6.55 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 17.92 crore.

Collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.71 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.65 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.62 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.60 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 2.58 crore, the second week closed at Rs. 6.48 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 20.33 crore.

Yodha did very dull business in 3rd week. It added only Rs. 1.35 crore to its kitty in 3rd week, taking its grand total for 3 weeks to Rs. 31.85 crore.

Kung Fu Panda 4 (animation; dubbed and the original English versions) did fair business in 3rd week, dropping little over 60% from the second week. It started the third weekend with a net collection of Rs. 0.80 crore on Friday. Collections increased to Rs. 0.96 crore on Saturday, and further to Rs. 1.16 crore on Sunday. After a third weekend total of Rs. 2.92 crore, collections on the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 0.31 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.26 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.26 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.23 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 1.06 crore. Total for 3rd week: Rs. 3.98 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 30 crore.

Shaitaan managed decent collections in the fourth week also. It netted Rs. 1.28 crore in the fourth Friday, Rs. 1.44 crore on Saturday, and Rs. 1.62 crore on Sunday. The fourth weekend’s total was, therefore, Rs. 4.34 crore. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 0.66 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.57 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.52 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.48 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 2.23 crore. In this way, the total for 4th week was Rs. 6.57 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: 144.29 crore.

Laapataa Ladies added Rs. 1.20 crore to its kitty in 5th week. Grand total for 5 weeks: Rs. 16.28 crore.

Article 370 managed to stay afloat in 6th week. It netted Rs. 1 crore in 6th week, taking its grand total for 6 weeks to Rs. 76.80 crore.
