‘BHOLAA’ DOES FAIR BUSINESS

After a reasonable start on Thursday (March 30), Bholaa dipped on Friday, but collections picked up on Saturday and Sunday. It netted Rs. 10.20 crore on the opening day (Ram Navmi partial holiday), Rs. 6 crore on Friday, Rs. 11 crore on Saturday, and Rs. 12.20 crore on Sunday. After a 4-day weekend of Rs. 39.40 crore, collections during the weekdays were not too encouraging: Monday – Rs. 4 crore, Tuesday (Mahavir Jayanti) – Rs. 4.40 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 3 crore, Thursday – Rs. 2.90 crore. The total for the weekdays was, therefore, Rs. 14.30 crore. In this way, the film netted Rs. 53.70 crore in its first week of 8 days. Because of a clear (without major opposition) run of two more weeks, it is expected to do a lifetime total of Rs. 80-plus crore.

Dasara (dubbed) did very ordinary in 1st week (8 days).

John Wick: Chapter 4 (dubbed and the original English versions) dropped markedly in 2nd week. It added Rs. 9.50 crore to its kitty in the second week. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 41.59 crore.

Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway added Rs. 2.60 crore to its kitty in the third week. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 19.26 crore.

Shazam! Fury Of The Gods (dubbed and the original English versions) is on its last lap. It didn’t fare too well in its third week.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar collected Rs. 3.47 crore in its fourth weekend, and another Rs. 2.20 crore during the weekdays, taking its total for 4th week to Rs. 5.67 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 127.63 crore.
