‘LEGALLY VEER’ (DUBBED) REVIEW | 7 March, 2025

Silver Cast Creations’ Legally Veer (dubbed from the Telugu film of the same name; UA) is a crime thriller.

Lawyer Veer (Mallik Veer Reddy) returns from the US and takes up a complicated case of an accused for whom all the doors are closed. Is he able to prove the accused innocent?

Ravi Gogula has written a fairly interesting story but his screenplay is not very engaging or interesting. Several scenes have been unnecessarily added. This also makes the drama quite boring. Dialogues are dull.

Mallik Veer Reddy fails to impress as lawyer Veer. Neither is his acting good nor are his expressions worthwhile. Priyanka Rewri does a fair job. Thanuja Puttaswamy is so-so. Delhi Ganesh makes his mark. Madhu Ramachandran is okay. Leela Samson makes her presence felt. Ramassamy S. is okay. Giridhar is alright. Jabardasth Appa Rao performs quite well. Dayanand Reddy is average. Jayashri Rachakonda lends routine support. Others fit the bill.

Ravi Gogula’s direction is not up to the mark. Shankar Tamiri’s music is hardly worth dancing about. Even the lyrics don’t create much of an impact. Song picturisations (by Prem Rakshith and Vallam Kaladhar) are fair. Shankar Tamiri’s background music is impactful. Jackson Johnson and Anush Gorak’s cinematography is quite good. Ramakrishna’s action and stunt scenes are average. Hari Varma’s art direction is okay. S.B. Uddhav’s editing is loose. Dubbing is alright.

On the whole, Legally Veer will flop at the box-office.

Released on 7-3-’25 at Metro Inox (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru 1st Film Studios LLP. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was weak everywhere.
