MAHARASHTRA HOME MINISTER RULES OUT CBI PROBE INTO SUSHANT’S SUICIDE | 18 July, 2020

Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh on 17th July said that there was no need for a Central Bureaus of Investigation (CBI) probe into the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput as the Bombay police was conducting a foolproof probe. It may be mentioned here that the Bombay police has interrogated more than 30 persons including Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aditya Chopra in the case.

Ever since Rajput ended his life on 14th June, there has been a public outcry on social media for a CBI probe. Just recently, his girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, and BJP minister Subramanian Swamy also requested for a probe by the agency.
