Dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla has finally apologised to the people for his controversial dialogues in Adipurush. The language used in some of the important dialogues of the film based on epic Ramayan were far from satisfactory and they stirred a hornet’s nest. People from across the country were up in arms against Muntashir’s dialogues. A couple of police complaints and a court case in the Allahabad high court followed.
Although the dialogue writer was defiant in the beginning and tried to justify what he had written, the producers announced that the objectionable dialogues would be changed. And they were changed. After more than two weeks of the altered dialogues, Manoj Muntashir Shukla recently took to social media and issued an unconditional apology “with folded hands” for hurting “people’s emotions”.
