Renowned Marathi film actor Bhalchandra Kulkarni passed away at his Kolhapur residence on 18th March in the morning. He was 88.
Kulkarni had complained of breathlessness two days earlier and had been admitted to a hospital. He was discharged on 17th and breathed his last the following morning.
Bhalchandra Kulkarni had acted in more than 250 films, TV serials and even stage-plays. Some of his Marathi films were Songadya, Thartharat, Pinjara and Zhunj. Although he worked in Marathi films predominantly, he was also seen in a few Hindi films.
