Marathi film producer Swapna Patkar has alleged that Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut was harassing her and her family. In a letter to deputy chairperson of the Legislative Council, Neelam Gorhe, the film producer has complained of harassment, stating that she was a witness in the Enforcement Directorate’s money laundering probe in the Patra Chawl redevelopment case.
Patkar said, she lived at Santacruz in Bombay with her mother. In her letter, she said, “Sanjay Raut is harassing me and my family. Even though I have written thousands of letters so far, I am suffering. I am followed wherever I go. I was chased at BKC on 3rd May as well. I have been attacked before. A case has been registered, but nothing has happened.” She added that one spy, hired by Raut to watch over her, was arrested but no action was taken against Raut.
