Producer Bhushan Kumar and writer-producer-director Anurag Basu hosted a party at AOX in Bombay today (17th July) to celebrate the success of their Metro… In Dino. The entire cast and crew of the film attended the party and jointly celebrated the success.
Bhushan Kumar happily revealed that unlike most of the films which are made for a universal audience, Metro… In Dino had been made for a target audience which had taken kindly to it. “I had expected the film to net Rs. 60-70 crore in its lifetime,” he said in a candid conversation. The fact that its collections held on well even after the second weekend gives Bhushan the confidence that he may not be far from soon reaching his target.
Anurag Basu will now soon get busy with his Kartik Aaryan starrer which is just about 50% complete. This love story is also being directed by Basu for Bhushan Kumar.
