Miraj Cinemas has opened a three-screen multiplex in Kozhikode (Calicut). This is the first Miraj property in the state of Kerala. It is located on the third floor of the newly-developed Blue Diamond Mall on Mavoor Road. The mall has come up in place of the erstwhile Blue Diamond Theatre.
The multiplex has a total seating capacity of 489. The first screen has 131 seats while the second has 166 (including 12 recliners). The third auditorium can seat 192 persons. The screens are fitted with Dolby 7.1 sound system, 2K projection and Triple Beam 3D technology.
