‘MISSION MANGAL’ STARTS SECOND WEEK ON A FLYING NOTE | 24 August, 2019

That Jagan Shakti’s Mission Mangal has immense shakti (strength) at the box-office is borne out by the fact that its second week has started on a fabulous note. The net all-India collection for the first day of the second weekend is a phenomenal Rs. 7.83 crore! Given the way the film is going from strength to strength, it shouldn’t be a surprise if it touches the Rs. 175-crore mark. That is to say, it will surpass the collections of Kesari, Akshay’s biggest solo grosser so far, not by a couple of crore rupees but easily by Rs. 25 crore on a conservative estimate. For, with the 9-day total standing at Rs. 135.83 crore, it should easily touch the Rs. 150-crore mark by the end of the second weekend. The film should fare very well in the four weekdays also as there is no new film which has opened this week. Obviously, therefore, the audience’s first choice this week also will be Mission Mangal.
