‘MUGHAL-E-AZAM’ SCREENPLAY OFFERED TO OSCARS LIBRARY | 7 August, 2020

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of K. Asif’s cinema masterpiece, Mughal-E-Azam, this week, the filmmaker’s son, Akbar Asif, presented the movie marvel’s screenplay to the Oscars library in Hollywood. The UK-based Akbar gave the screenplay of his father’s historical movie classic to the Academy Awards library in three versions — Hindi, Roman text and English. All the three versions are now available at the Margaret Herrick Library.

Mughal-E-Azam had released in India on 5th August, 1960.
